The World Is Her Office - RECAP

Updated: Dec 5, 2018

Biz Babez (@bizbabez) is a gorgeous co-working space in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, and this past Wednesday, Jane Ella and Co. hosted it’s first The World is Her Office co-working event there! Biz Babez was started by Dani (@dazey_la) and Taryn (@vegetaryn) to provide independent business owners a beautiful place to work and network as well with other boss women entrepreneurs. The space is set up to be captured on the ‘gram- gorgeous furnishing, bright colors, multiple work areas, but is also very comfortable and functional, with multiple seating arrangements and tables to work.

Beautiful light filled space @BizBabez

The World is Her Office started as a podcast with Jane Ella, where women who work remotely or utilize their travel to scale their business, shared their path to digital nomad and being a successful entrepreneur. So far we have had the pleasure of interviewing Ashley Smith of @AshleySmithTV, flight attendant and YouTube sensation; Claire Soares (@upintheairclaire), founder of Up in the Air Life, a luxury travel company currently living in Playa del Carmen, MX; and Donalee Curtis, creative entrepreneur currently living her best life in Bali.

This podcast series sparked the idea that there are women within the Los Angeles area who may be working for themselves full time (or as a side hustle), but could benefit from working alongside other women to break up the norm, and sometimes loneliness of working for yourself. Biz Babez was the perfect location for this first meet up! In true Jane Ella fashion, the ladies in attendance were met with a signature cocktail and other refreshments. Each attendee received a goodie bag packed with products from other women owned businesses including Lust V Cosmetics and Tealing & Co. There was even a photographer! Le Tresse Grissom was on hand snapping a few lifestyle photos of each participant to utilize for their own business ventures. The ladies were encouraged to spread out and work on whatever projects they needed to tackle. It was a wonderful opportunity to really get some work done and network.

It was a great experience and we look forward to hosting another co-working event in January! Please make sure to sign up on our site. If you are looking for a space to work, look into Biz Babez, we truly enjoyed ourselves. We can’t wait to provide another space for you to crush those 2019 goals!
