The World is HER office: WEHO workday!

Updated: Jan 8, 2019

Happy New Year, Janes!

We started off the year with a meet up on Melrose Ave to kick off a productive 2019!

The day started off a little chilly, but just like Los Angeles weather, it warmed up and made for a beautiful day outside. The rooftop space was open-air and perfect for our group. Allow me to set the scene: The rooftop space is housed atop a luxury home-furnishings. The company created an open to the public, rooftop garden where folks often work and meet with friends. The view is absolutely stunning and there are nooks arranged throughout. From the photos below, you can see we tried them all!

After we shared a continental breakfast and Starbucks coffee, we discussed our goals for the year and brainstormed ways to stay accountable. Do you have your Jane to keep you accountable? Behind every successful person, there is a great person or team. Surround yourself with the right company. Other people can provide the inspiration, knowledge, perspective, wisdom, and feedback you need to keep you on track. Having an Accountability Partner can dramatically increase your chances to succeed. You must have someone whom to answer for your actions and results — a person that can keep you on track and honest. For some of us, that person is you. For others, external AP's work best!

The World Is Her Office is a podcast series featured on 9+ platforms including iTunes and Spotify. Our Creator, Alice Foy has created a work life that allows her to work in non-traditional spaces. Changing your workspace is great for productivity and creativity. We're not talking your regular coffee shops, our meetups are all hosted at amazing locations. If you are based in Los Angeles, stay tuned for the next meetup.

It’s a year to leap; to write that action plan. Move forward fearlessly.

It’s a year of reinvention; make room for things that matter.

Invest in yourself: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Work more.

Care less.

Hug more.

Actually do what you want.

Cheers to 2019!
